Because of our understanding of ATF guidelines (which may or may not be correct) and our understanding of Indiana code (which may or may not be correct) the following policies or guidelines are believed to be correct and will be enforced via banning from the group if not followed:
1) Performing work as a gunsmith requires an FFL unless the work is completed on a firearm that you own.
2) Changing the appearance of a firearm constitutes performing work as a gunsmith.
3) Modifying or changing “furniture” on an AK or AR style rifle constitutes performing work as a gunsmith.
4) A person must be 18 yrs of age and a proper person to purchase a long gun or long gun ammunition from a dealer or an individual.
5) A person must be 21 yrs of age and a proper person to purchase a handgun or handgun ammunition from a dealer.
6) A person must be 18 yrs of age and a proper person to purchase a handgun from an individual.
7) All purchases from an individual in another state MUST involve an FFL holder.
