************************

This group is dedicated to the legendary Edgware Walker, a man famous for walking round Edgware and North-West London in only his underpants. Come rain, wind or shine he would be seen walking. For many people he was a link to their's and Edgware's past, having seemingly been there since time began. Many myths and legends surrounded the man. Some say he was a doctor, others a brain-surgeon. They say he killed his wife in an operation or that his family died in a car-crash. What's your story?

The story of the Walker and of his connection to Edgware is revealed in the film, "The Edgware Walker", that was broadcast on Channel 4 in 2004. Described by Time Out as the best film of Channel 4's Outside Season, the film gets to the truth behind the myths and legends surrounding the man. The film will soon be available to purchase on DVD.
