I started at Raunds Manor School in September 1981

For all those past pupils from the Manor School Raunds, Northamptonshire, England, who started their comprehensive education in September 1981 in the 1st year, long before it became the Manor School & Sports College, along with a first year intake known as Year 7.

Back in 1981, petrol was about 32p a litre, the average house price was about £23000, inflation was running at about 12% and interest rates were about 14.5%.
