$12-12hours-2012

An Ironman Triathlon is one of a series of long-distance triathlon races organized by the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC) consisting of a 2.4-mile (3.86 km) swim, a 112-mile (180.25 km) bike and a marathon 26.2-mile (42.2 km) run, raced in that order and without a break.

In 2011, Mike Haslam completed his first Ironman in 12hrs and 35 minutes. He will be competing again in August 2012 with the goal of completing the race under 12 hours.

Mike would like to raise money for the Jennifer Ashleigh Children's Charity. He is asking YOU to donate $12 in 2012 to reach his goal of raising $5,000 to help seriously ill children in Ontario.

"The discomfort I endured in one day does not compare to the everyday challenges these children and their families face every day". Mike Haslam
