Welcome to Edinburgh University Young Scientific Researchers Ass...ociation.

This society is an acting catalyst for undergraduate scientific innovation and research development. Whilst primarily acting as a catalyst for scientific innovation and hands on experimentation, is at the same time a highly academic society which aims to broaden the scientific knowledge of its members through presentations of fellow members or guest speakers whilst also being enticing with lively debates and competitions.

EUYSRA encourages undergraduates of science and non-science related degrees to pursue and develop original and independent research, through working as members of teams consisting of people of similar academic backgrounds with the possibilities of cross departmental cooperation, thereby allowing valuable skills and appreciations for scientific research to be gained.

Through participation in the society, members will gain valuable skills relating to research conduct and team work skills (which become highly attractive when applying for internships), and will be greatly encouraged to take an innovative approach to developing new and exciting experiments.

We have weekly meetings every Wednesday at 18:30 in Appleton Tower Lecture Theatre 5.
