No, it's not starving - dedicated to fit, healthy dogs!

As a sighthound owner, I have constantly heard "that looks like a greyhound" from the general public, which is all well and good until they follow up with the now all too familiar question "why is it so thin?"

At times it angers me, at times it amuses me. But it really shows how despite the sighthound build being one known for athletic ability, there is a disconnect when it comes to recognizing that a healthy, thin dog is something that even pet owners should be striving for and that dogs that are fed well and kept active are the farthest thing from being malnourished.

This group is for responsible owners of dogs from ALL walks of life, to share pictures, share stories, and discuss various aspects of caring for their dogs. Show dogs, strictly pets, hunting dogs, protection dogs, agility dogs, "multipurpose" dogs, etc are ALL welcome!
