Loxford School of Science and Technnology

Loxford School of Science and Technology is a comprehensive secondary school based in Ilford, Greater London. The School's headteacher is Mrs Anita Johnson, who replaced Mrs Hazel Farrow OBE in 2007. Notable alumni include Nigel Benn. In 2008, Loxford school achieved 75% A*-C pass rate, not including Maths and English. The school has about 1,526 students aged from 11 - 18 years, and is looking to make a new primary school along with it; due to the shortage of primary school places in the area.

Loxford received media attention in February 2010 for anti-Judaic views held by some students. A student whose name has been kept private by the media was probed by the police for creating an anti-Jewish Facebook group; additional commentators to the same Facebook account couched anti-Jewish comments.
