Red Cedar Friends Meeting Group

Red Cedar Friends Meeting is the local Quaker Meeting (Religious Society of Friends) for the area in and around Lansing, Michigan, U.S.A. You are welcome to join us on Sunday morning at 1400 Turner Street for an hour of silent worship and meditation.

Meetings for Worship in the manner of Friends on First Day (Sundays):
9:00 to 10:00 am
10:30 to 11:30 am
With childcare available at both 9:00 and 10:30

Children’s First Day (Sunday) School:
10:15 to 11:30 am

In our work with the American Friends Service Committee, the Red Cedar Friends Meeting coordinates Cost of War and Michigan Eyes Wide Open exhibitions in Michigan, making visible the human cost of war to people in Michigan and to Iraqi civilians.

Locally, the Red Cedar Friends Meeting is a supporting member of the Peace Education Center http://www.PeaceEdCenter.org/ We are active in local work for peace through the Greater Lansing Network Against War & Injustice http://www.GLNAWI.org/ and in supporting witness for peace through the statewide Michigan Peace Team http://michiganpeaceteam.org/.
