Not for profit group - lunch and workshop for $30

Hi, I'm Alex Mitchell, editor and author's consultant at www.AuthorSupportServices.com, and facilitator of the Sunshine Coast Women Entrepreneurs group.

The Sunshine Coast Women Entrepreneurs are a not for profit group of highly motivated and focused group of women entrepreneurs. We connect regularly to share our experiences, inspire and support eachother. We have been meeting for around eight years in various forms. Many different business types are represented including small business owners, retailers, authors, artists, coaches, consultants, speakers and health service providers.

As a not for profit group, my facilitation of the group, as well as the speakers' time, is donated in the spirit of sharing. I believe the sharing of wisdom and the support of other women entrepreneurs cannot be bought or sold, it is something we gift eachother because we care. We are all in business together in this beautiful corner of the world, helping eachother to reach our potential and share our unique messages.

Meetings are held 1-4pm on a Saturday at Amici Cafe in Caloundra. A delicious two course meal catering to vegetarian, gluten free and omnivore diners is included in the $30 ticket price, as well as hot beverages, which is a great deal!

All rsvps require prepayment via online ticketing to secure your place. Ticket sales close at 5pm the Thursday before the event, unless sold out earlier. They usually sell out well in advance, so stay on the ball!

We start each meeting with introductions of some or all our members, so come prepared with something concise and compelling to share. This is your chance to let others know who you are and what services you offer. Business cards are handed around at this time. We then move to the guest speaker or discussion topic of the day.

Speakers are chosen by the educational value they can provide to the group - women come along expecting to learn something practical and meaningful to help take their business to the next level. We love to get involved with short exercises or workshops. The time allocated for the speaker is 1.5 hours. Speaker applications for 2015 close at end August 2014.
