The Committee for Justice in Palestine, CJP at The Ohio State University

The Committee for Justice in Palestine at The Ohio State University (CJP OSU) is a democratic organization consisting of students, faculty, and community members that aspire to raise awareness of the brutality of the occupation through education and activism. CJP opposes the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine and the human rights abuses committed against the Palestinian people. Although group members may differ in ideology, we agree that the Palestinian people must ultimately be able to decide their future in Palestine; the following principles grounded in international law, human rights, and basic standards of justice are fundamental to a just resolution to the plight of the Palestinians:
- An end to colonial systems of governance in the West Bank, Gaza, and Israel
- An end to the illegal Israeli military occupation of the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem (per UN Resolution 242)
- An end to the blockade of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian territories
- Withdrawal and end to the illegal Israeli settlements in Palestinian territories
- Recognition and implementation of the Right of Return for all Palestinian refugees and their descendants (per UN Resolution 194)
- An end to the Israeli system of apartheid and discrimination against the indigenous Palestinian population
