EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY YOUTH NETWORK

YOUTH AS THE FUTURE OF EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY

This is where East Africans are to have discussions, debates, get information, organise conferences, seminars, workshops, other activities and share their experiences among them and beyond.

To bring awareness and Challenges of the Nations in our community close to home. We just hear them in the news, but do we have something burning about the East African Community that we do not understand and we can share?

This is your chance to tell those in other countries, in power and your friends what you think should happen. Move with the development of the community.

The East African Community is comprised of five countries.

1. Burundi
2. Kenya
3. Rwanda
4.Tanzania
5. Uganda. The following countries are planning to join the community.
6.Somalia and
7. South Sudan

The Population of the Community is roughly 151 million.
The main purpose of this group is for East Africans to discover their worthy and work together for a better Community and South Sudan.

The youth takes up almost 2/3 of the population. And therefore the community has to have the youth in every plan, strategy, forecast and vision. What is your role as a youth in our community? What do you bring on the table of:
i. Development
ii. Research and
iii Innovation?
