Help Bring My Lost Dog Pathos Home

Please help me find my much-loved dog who went missing on Christmas day from Pitsea, Essex. He escaped from my mother's back garden and pulled his harness off. He's a red/ginger coloured Shiba Inu (he looks very fox-like), with a bushy tail. He's a small to medium sized dog, about the size of a Corgi. He's microchipped.

He had a very hard start to his life and was beaten by his previous owner. I adopted him from a rescue centre in France where I volunteered each Summer. He's a very timid dog and is afraid of children. He hates noisy and busy places
(fireworks on New Years Eve would have terrified him). He needs a lot of love, patience and attention because he develops new fears easily. The whole family is desperately worried about him and life is miserable without him.

We've put up over 2,500 posters and have contacted all the authorities, kennels and charities we can think of. His story has featured in the Evening Echo and on Gateway Radio. Around 40 supporters through Facebook joined forces to search for him and put posters up on Sunday 9th January. We have adverts in the Evening Echo, the Yellow Advertiser (Basildon/Laindon/Wickford, Brentwood Southend/Canvey and the Basildon Recorder. We have also got ads going out through the Echo's sister papers daily and weekly in Colchester. We believe he has been taken to Colchester and we need people to be extra vigilant in that area. We also need people to look out for him in other areas.

PLEASE HELP US BY ASKING FRIENDS TO JOIN THIS GROUP AND CREATE AWARENESS THAT HE'S MISSING - THE MORE PEOPLE WE HAVE LOOKING FOR HIM, THE MORE CHANCE THERE IS OF HIM BEING FOUND. PLEASE, PLEASE ALSO DOWNLOAD A POSTER AT THE FOLLOWING LINK: http://www.doglost.co.uk/poster.php?dogId=26978. AND PUT COPIES UP IN YOUR AREA

OR if you see Pathose, please contact Angela Bruce on 07522 918 278 or 01268 555005.

Thank you so much in anticipation of your help
