Welcome Everyone to Beg, Barter, Buy and Sell in Huntsville, Tx! Please use these rules below while buying and selling in our community
1. Please be courteous and respectful to all members and admins.
2.You are buying and selling at your own risk. Ask questions, look items over and do your own research. We are NOT responsible for items you buy or sell. Good judgement is always important.
3. When pricing your items, keep in mind that this is a virtual garage sale. Asking full price or near full price is not really reasonable for a garage sale. Price gouging is not tolerated under any circumstance.
4. For maximum effectiveness,
POSTS should include:
• PHOTO (one)
• PRICE
• DESCRIPTION
• LOCATION TO MEET (optional)
5.There is no maximum number of items you can post
But....
6. ONLY ONE (1) PHOTO PER ITEM. If you have more than one photo of a single item, please use an online collage or a free app (picmonkey.com). You may send additional photos via private messase to those interested.
7. Do NOT post an item more than once or in more than one category as this only confuses buyers.
8.NO AUCTIONS, BIDDING OR HIJACKING. But... OBO is allowed.
9. If you are selling ANYTHING from a business where you are a direct sells consultant, you CAN post items to this group. This includes but is not limited to: Scentsy, Advocare, Avon, Tupperware, Mary Kay, Pink Zebra etc.
10. We do not allow the sale of:
• FORMULA
• MEDICATIONS
• VITAMINS
11. BUSINESS POSTINGS: Feel free to add your small business graphic or business card. You may include one link in your ad. This category cannot be bumped and does not post to the main feed. However, it can be searched; so, please remember to write a descriptive title and description so it shows up in the search! No MLM ( Multi-Level-Marketing) allowed!
NOTE: If you are a local business making handmade items ( cakes, tutu's, picnic tables etc.) please list items in the HANDMADE ITEMS category with a photo, price and location. Links are prohibited but you may ALSO list an ad in the SMALL BUSINESS DIRECTORY as well.
12.COMMUNITY EVENTS: Upcoming garage sales, school events, fundraisers, etc. should be listed under “Community Events” category. No links allowed in this category per VS. No events allowed that push other selling sites.
13.PROHIBITED ITEMS:
• FIREARMS OR WEAPONS
• ALCOHOL
• TOBACCO
• UPLOADING DOCUMENTS
• UPLOADING VIDEOS
This is a free site but your right to use it is not guaranteed. Admins reserve the right to refuse admittance to the group. Admins have the right to edit, delete, or deny any posts, pictures or persons at any time, at their discretion. Admins will deny dishonest users from the site whenever possible.
