** Group policies **
No Spam: spammers will be blocked. If you have a commercial message, either put it beneath some useful personal insight as part of a news post or new observation, or in the comment line. There are people in this group who are pioneers in Bitcoin and we want to to protect their investment of time and attention by having zero posts that are just cut and paste of advertisements.

No Begging: do not list your Bitcoin address asking for donations. If you think that there is a worthwhile Bitcoin related initiative that is accepting donations, talk about it in context and link to it. The visitors then can decide if to donate.

No Naked Links: do not post a link alone, but contribute to the group intelligence by putting it in context through your personal commentary and opinion. Posting the title of the article or video you link won't constitute adequate commentary. Quoting simply from a post is won't be sufficient as your opinion. Lacking this the post will be deleted after a comment alerting you "We will now delete this link. Please repost with your own commentary to put it in context." If you care enough about it, then you will take the effort to think before reposting.

Contribute to the conversation: if you want to insult and slander all one million people who have bought Bitcoin, after zero posts offering anything, then you're just going to annoy people, so we should part ways.

No double posting: before posting a link, check if it has already been posted before, using the specific in-group search function on the top right. It works, make use of it.

Full disclosure: If you post any link to a product, service, or platform that you are affiliated with, disclose your affiliation, and put extra care in creating a post that adds value, by writing about the context of why the link is relevant to the group, and how it increases the level of conversation in the community.
