Karamoja is a land of opportunity and yet these opportunities remain untapped leaving one of the largest sub regions in Uganda the poorest in this East African Country. Its rich mineral potential is only partially exploited and yet there is nothing Karamoja benefits from this.
Karimojong, Ugandans of good will and the international community should come together to work towards developing this region. This begins with advocacy, translating this in to tangible work and affecting families and persons on the ground. This can be achieved and the over a million Karimojong can be emancipated. Let the debate begin.
