This group is a meeting-place for Linux Mint enthusiasts, where we share our experiences and help each other. Linux Mint is a popular desktop and mobile operating system, ideal for both new and experienced computer users.

There are rules. They are simply a statement of acceptable behavior in an international community, intended to protect all members and create a friendly atmosphere. Please acquaint yourselves with them before making a post. Ignorance of the rules is not a valid excuse if you are warned or banned for breaking them.

1. No SPAM - do not bomb us with unsolicited posts or comments for the purposes of advertising yourself, a website or any products or Facebook pages. Spamming will result in an instant ban.

2. Racist or sexist posts or comments will also trigger an instant ban, as will comments of a bullying, threatening or abusive nature towards any of our group members or admins.

3. No talk of Religion or Politics, good or bad. We very much respect everyone's individual spiritual and political beliefs, but we do not tolerate the promotion of any one viewpoint.

4. Keep to matters either directly related to Linux Mint, or at least relevant to using it.

5. No posts about hacking Facebook or other accounts, or cracking commercial software, or where to find illegal material of any kind, or any posts that threaten anyone's security or anonymity.

6. Please don't hi-jack someone else's post! If someone posts about one thing, stick to that topic in that thread. If you want to raise a different matter, start your own post.

The general Facebook rules also apply. Please read them carefully again here:
And remember you've already agreed with them...

Please report any posts that violate any of the above rules. The admin team will investigate and may delete any offending posts. They may also ban the person responsible. In exceptional cases, the incident may be reported to Facebook.
