Welcome to Lyme Disease Diets & Recipes! Here we can discuss the diets our doctors have us on, share dieting tips and share recipes! Maintaining a diet for Lyme Disease can be hard and frustrating but it is essential in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This group is aimed at making our dieting more fun and enjoyable by sharing dieting tips and recipes with one another. No one should have to go through this alone. Our diets are complicated enough and it can be frustrating and you can be left dumbfounded just trying to figure out what to eat or drink and what not to eat or drink. Before taking any dieting suggestions seriously we urge you to speak to your doctor first before persuing any tips because everyone is different and we are on all different types of diets. Also remember what may work for you may not work for another and some of us are more tolerant of different foods.

This is a support group and just like any support group we do not tolerate obscene behavior, underminding, discrimination, harrassment, foul language/cursing or anything that would offend another member or make them feel uncomfortable. If you are a victim of this kind of behavor or have any compaints please contact the Group Administrator privately.

Please also do not use doctor names in order to protect their privacy. You may abbreviate their names. For example (Dr. S.R. of Orlando, FL). Even if a doctor has done you wrong or didn't help you please do not use real names. A doctor that did you wrong may also be a doctor that is saving someone else's life. We need to protect the identity of our doctors so that we do not jeapordize their medical license and in turn jeapordize the lives of his patients who are relying on that doctor to save their life.

Please follow the rules and have a pleasant stay. You are also welcome to use the docs section to post your recipes and dieting books/tips/websites. That way they don't get lost in time on the news feed.

*Please put your recipes in the "Files Section" so they are not lost in the feed. This way your recipes will be saved there forever or until you delete it and anyone can view them anytime they desire to make your recipe(s). If you need help making a creating a document in the files section just ask and I will be more than happy to help you. You get an idea what other people have done with their recipes by going to the "files section" and clicking on a previous posted recipe.
