Modern Mystics

It has long been noted that at the mystical level of every system of belief on earth there is much more in common than there is different. Mystics may arise from any system of belief in existence, but when they ascend to the fabled "sunlit heights," they often see a very similar landscape. And it is the recognition of this ultimate connectedness of all consciousness at the very highest level of human spiritual endeavor that brings us here to fellowship, to share thoughts, ideas and insights about our journey. and to support one another on our ways. Here, we honor ALL paths as sacred.

We are all of us connected by human existence, and we share here an orientation toward the Great Mystery. We welcome all who seek the Mystery and who wish to fellowship and share their journey with others.

We ask only that our discussions be civil and do not descend to personal attacks.

Namaste: In the words of the an ancient Sanskrit greeting still in everyday use in India and especially on the trail in the Nepal Himalaya. Translated roughly, it means "I bow to the God within you", or "The Spirit within me salutes the Spirit in you" - a knowing that we are all made from the same Eternal Divine Consciousness.
