IUPUI International Students

Cultural Leadership Luncheon Featuring Tralicia Powell Lewis on Wednesday, Jan. 28 in the Campus Center, Room 309
Everyone is welcome (Lunch is provided!) The Cultural Leadership Luncheons series highlights community leaders who have made a positive impact on IUPUI or the larger Indianapolis community. At each session, the IUPUI community will be able to hear about an individual’s leadership journey and lessons learned. Participants will also have the opportunity to have a dialogue about leadership from many different lenses and identities. In a daily quest to serve the IUPUI community, Tralicia Powell Lewis always finds a way to engage students. As the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, she is responsible for providing leadership and management for the offices of student health, educational partnerships and student advocacy, counseling and psychological services, campus recreation and health and wellness promotion. Tralicia has a long legacy at IUPUI, starting as a student leader in her undergraduate years and serving in numerous positions during her twenty year career. A native of Gary, Indiana, Tralicia’ s professional and community associations are many, having served on the board for the YMCA and leadership roles in the Association for Student Conduct Administrators. Tralicia is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
