Oscar's Coffee Bar

Oscar's Coffee has been a dream of ours for many years. We had the opportunity to buy a coffee bar inside a nursery in 2007. In the summer of 2008 Ted thought that it might be advantageous to start vending at arts events and town festivals. Soon we found the festivals to be more profitable than the garden business. In 2011 due to the economic situation we decided it was more advantageous to concentrate on these mobile events and closed the original coffee bar.

We have been attending festivals and fairs selling our espresso, coffee, iced drinks out of a vendors tent. This involves moving the equipment in and out of the Van into the tent and back to the van for every show. Ted is tired of moving equipment and has decided a trailer might be a better idea.

After looking at many food trucks, trailers and carts we decided a mid-century "Canned Ham" was a unique way to approach the food vendor market. We found and 1954 Shasta trailer in 29 Palms California and our new dream thus began..
