When I moved to South Lyon 4 years ago I noticed there wasn't a facebook group that would let people get to know the community, find out what good things were going on, and maybe make some new friends. So I decided to start this group as a community builder, also to let local business post specials( please only post these once a week),events, queries, celebrations,etc.
It has grow more that I ever expected! So unfortunately rules had to be made.
Hopefully this can be a group that has all the good parts of being part of this wonderful community without any drama. This group is non-political, non-denominational and we do not tolerate any comments about race or creed,, so please do not post these types of l comments.We do remove comments from thread that are off topic, also we do remove posts that are one the same topic as something that was just covered recently.If a topic is covered in the files it will be removed too. Please remember THIS is a closed group, you cannot say whatever you want on here. THIS IS NOT YOUR PERSONAL WALL, please don’t post things that belong there instead.
Any members who are abusive or rude to other members and especially the admin will be removed.The Admin work VERY hard at keeping the site drama free and if you don’t agree with a decisions, but this is a closed group, we make our decisions as admins and they are not up for discussion. If you keep creating dram, questioning decisions or generally seen as trying to undermine the admins you will be removed from the group.
