THE GUITAR BOARD: WHO WE ARE/WHAT WE DO
Do not be fooled by the quiet appearance of this board. We have guitarists of every level, of every profession. They come here to share their experiences, and get feedback. Every now and again, we get people selling CD's or DVD's, but we consider them "Indie Artists" and welcome them as well.

Between the admins and the owner, we get 25 - 30 emails A WEEK from members asking about the legitimacy of guitar resources, ADS and merchants, posted here, on Facebook and throughout the Internet, as well as where to go for online and offline assistance.

We tell everyone who asks questions about ads on our board the truth:
NO, we don't sponsor them,
NO, we don't know them,
NO, they don't ask permission to do this.

Then we direct them to the sites, online orgs and programs we believe are legitimate and safe to sign up for. It saves time and energy for everyone.

New members requesting to join this group will be sent a copy of the guidelines in their message box. They must send a reply stating the following:

"I have read and understand the guidelines. Please add me to the group."

If we do not receive this reply, they will remain in "limbo" not be added to the group - period.
