UEA CHRONIC Peer Support Group

CHRONIC is an umbrella Peer Support Group for students at UEA with chronic health conditions, mobility issues, disabilities and those who wish to support them. We campaign on behalf of disabled people, run weekly support groups, organise socials and offer online support. The group is validated by the UEA Students Union.

The support groups are secure non-judgmental environment where students can share experiences, knowledge and worries. We have weekly meetings every Wednesday at 2pm (Union House 1.31) which are friendly and informal where students chat over tea and coffee. CHRONIC is a great place to meet like minded people especially at our socials which are more relaxed. We do not focus on drinking and are more about getting to know each other and having a laugh.

This page is intended as a place for students to come together, share experiences and support each other. There are 5 secondary pages linked to this group which are designed to provide more specific support for conditions.
