The Blanket Youth Council was created to fill a gap in the lives of children that attend Blanket Independent School District, which is located in the city of Blanket, Texas. The main purpose of the Blanket Youth Council is to ensure that all of these children have the opportunity, regardless of race, sex or family income, to participate in youth sports.
