On April 16th, 2014 the Clark covered bridge spanning the Canaan River, in Canaan Forks, N.B. was swept away by the spring freshet. DTI has not made a decision to replace this bridge to date. The community has had public meetings and formed a committee to express our concerns with DTI and Public Safety. Our goal is to encourage public support for this much needed bridge.
