STORAGE WARS ~ Sioux Lookout & Area

Rules for Sellers:

Sioux Lookout & Area – Storage Wars was created to provide a safe, fair, enjoyable trading experience for all members. As a seller, you are responsible for reviewing and understanding the rules and guidelines to help you to avoid accidentally breaking rules. The rules are updated often to address emerging issues, so it is important to check them regularly for changes.
- If you don't follow the guidelines, you may be subject to a range of actions including limits of buying/selling privileges and suspension of posting any items.
- You can't bid on your own item, obviously.
- Please indicate how long you want your item to be up for bidding, eg: 24 hours, 36 hours, etc. - to a maximum of 72 hours!
- Please include a STARTING BID and an END DATE - no reserves please!
- To settle winners on auction items, please use the timestamp on the last bid or closest to the time your item ends. FOR EXAMPLE: A 6:00:00 p.m. auction end time means the winning bid is the last HIGHEST bid that comes in at 5:59:59. Any bid after 6:00:00 IS INVALID!
-IF YOU HAVE ISSUES WITH BUYERS, PLEASE NOTIFY ADMINS. DO NOT LIST NAMES ON THE SITE THAT HAVE NOT PICKED UP ITEMS. YOU CAN OFFER TO THE NEXT HIGHEST BIDDER OR REPOST. THERE ARE FIVE ADMIN ON THIS SITE - CONTACT ANY OF THEM.
- If you have posted an item on another site, do not POST on this site.

Once the item is paid for and picked up/delivered, DELETE posts.

Rules for Buyers:

-YOU MUST PAY FOR AN ITEM YOU BID ON,EVEN IF IT IS THE WRONG SIZE OR NOT TO YOUR EXPECTATION. YOU HAVE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO RESELL THE ITEM.
-The items on Storage Wars are sold in an auction-style format where you can make bids. Bidding is fun, but remember that each bid is a BINDING CONTRACT to buy the item if you win. Not paying for an item has negative consequences, or any unpaid items will be given to the next highest bidder.
-Only bid if you really intend to buy the item.
-If you are the winning bidder of more than one listing, you're required to purchase all the items, even if they're the same or similar.

You can only retract a bid under specific circumstances. For example, if you meant to bid $10 but bid $100 instead, you can retract the bid. Even then, you're required to immediately bid the amount you intended. Never use bid retraction to manipulate the bidding process. It's unfair, and it has serious consequences.

-Make sure you read the item description before you bid.
-Many of the problems buyers and sellers encounter start with a misunderstanding about what is for sale and the terms of sale.
-If you know the seller, you can't bid on the item with the intent to artificially increase its price or desirability. This rule applies to family, friends, roommates, employees, and online connections.
-If you live out-of-town, make arrangements for payment and pick-up. Freight Costs are at your expense.

Do not use PROFANITY, or attack other sellers/buyers on the site, you will be banned.
