The Village of South Jacksonville maintains a volunteer Fire Department, Rescue Squad, and Ambulance located at 1810 Sequoia. There are currently 24 resident fire/rescue volunteers within the Village. The Rescue Squad and Ambulance provide the highest level of emergency medical care (ALS) to the Village and surrounding communities.
