Here are the basic tenets: be nice to your fellow fans, keep the subject matter Ween related, and don’t incite any flame wars or virtual riots.
To keep things peaceful, we’ve laid down the “No Phish Rule” not because we don’t like Phish and are censorship happy, but because the topic always ends up downward spiraling into a wormhole of flame baiting that clogs the page and it’s purpose, shifting things away Ween Appreciation.
Non-Ween related posts are great, but try to remember this group is about Ween, not your opinions about everything. We reserve the right to delete threads and ban members as we see fit.
Since this is such a large group, a tip for preventing redundancy and repetitive posts is search (use the search feature in the upper right of the page) for a conversation topic that’s already been covered. For instance: “definition of brown” “how many concerts” or “what bands influence” or “Poopship Destroyer.”
Please note: Mickey Melchiondo sometimes contributes to the group (AWESOME, RIGHT?!), but please be respectful and do not tag him with stupid, obvious questions or overly fanboyish behavior.
