Shelby County Camera Club (SCCC)

When you ask for membership into this group I look at your Facebook page to determine your level of interest in photography. If your FB "About" doesn't contain any sign that you are interested in photography, I look at your "Photos" section. Being friends with someone else in the group is NOT evidence of an interest in photography. If I cannot determine a genuine interest in photography, I don't admit. You can still gain entry into the group by showing up at a monthly club meeting and asking to be admitted. I want to include everyone with a real interest, but it is primarily a group for people who plan to attend meetings and/or share photos/knowledge on our Facebook page.

The Shelby County Camera Club (SCCC) is the creation of Ted Vodde; this group has been created for members of the SCCC and welcomes photographers of all levels from within Alabama, but especially the Shelby/Jefferson county areas. The SCCC meets monthly in Alabaster, Alabama at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit at 858 Kent Dairy Road. Dates and meeting times will be announced to members via email and on this page.
