Ashland Mamas Medicine Wheel

Mamas' Medicine Wheel is a group of mothers and other care-givers that empower each other with knowledge sharing and community support in order to create good health and wellness for their families. All members are welcome to plan occasional meetings with information sharing, discussions or guest speakers on topics of family health and well-being.

There are two Rogue Valley, Oregon based Mamas' Medicine Wheels. The first option is through Big Tent and is called Mamas Medicine Wheel-Rogue Valley Parenting Group. You can sign up (https://www.bigtent.com/groups/mamamw) and then share information or ask for advice and resources from everyone on our list through emails. The 2nd one is here to join on Facebook. We ask for spammers to pass us by; we will delete your request to join.

From members we ask for kindness and respect for every mama. This is a safe place to speak and ask questions. If we, the admins, need to ask you repeatedly to be respectful and non-judgmental, then we will remove you from the group. Admins may delete original posts at their discretion if they are inflammatory. We do not censor for content but we do screen for tone/bullying/hate/civility. If a discussion gets "heated", then the first step is a public warning, followed by a private message warning, and finally removal of you and/or your post. If you see a post that is troublesome, then in the upper left hand side of the post, there is an arrow with the option of "Report/Mark" you can click on, and it will go to the Admins to resolve.

If you want to sell an item, then please remove it after it has sold. If you post information about an event, be clear about the date, just saying "today" can be confusing amongst all the posts. And when the event is done, circle back and delete your post.

You can search this FB group for topics, sale items etc using keywords. Look just below the banner picture to the far right for a tiny magnifying glass, click it, and a search box will appear.

Thank you all for making our MMW a wonderful and supportive resource for our community!
