Just a Real Genuine and Gentle little reminder from us at Admin, to all members, Old and New to the HCMP&P Group.....
This group has been formed to share your personal Memories, Light hearted discussions, re kindling of good friendships, relationships and the like, also of presenting and posting of physical items, such as photo's and personal anecdotes of the Community, and its People, Past and Present, or ex patriots from the area, and indeed, still currently remain in and around Haverhill, Suffolk, England.
The Group is open by invite to all age groups and genders that have a common and personal shared interest in recording and posting of items for posterity for future generations to enjoy, and for current members to continuously enjoy by participation and reminiscing with warm light-hearted Human interaction...
It must also be respected, that there a very few general and very simple rules that are expected to be followed by all members, one being that there is strictly no advertising allowed on this group unless it is, or has a direct link to an Historical site associated to Haverhill, or to the Historical values related to HCMP&P Groups purpose, or of Local Historical interest to its own members, if in any doubt? Further guidance can be sort through contact with the admin team prior to any posting that may, or might well be infringing this general rule...
Also....Please be, at all times, very respectful and considerate with your comments or postings, as there will probably be other members on the group that might be related to a person(s), or to an Historical/Current event that you may be in discussion or speaking about, whether they are currently Young or Adult, Alive or Deceased, or related in some way, that comments made, may have a direct, or indirect bearing as being seen as to sensitive or of a derogatory nature to be shown in text, and all such deemed postings or comments will not be tolerated and will be deleted at the soonest possible moment by Admin.
As a final reminder to all Members....Sue Longley (Group Creator, Head of Admin) Jim Morgan, Number Six and Stan Goodall are administrators of this group, they will decline any membership request that does not look genuinely representative of the person requesting membership, and will delete any comments they feel to be inappropriate by current members . They reserve the right to delete any member who doesn't abide to these very simple rules (inclusive of Admin team members!)....But are and will still remain, all very approachable on these aspects!!
On the Lighter side of things, that is the things that remain so importantly paramount to the Groups mission and Aim?
