This group is intended for only residents of Worthington. If you mailing address is Worthington than you will be considered part of Worthington. If are not a Worthington resident than it is your responsibility to travel to Worthington to complete the sale.
This site can be an amazing resource to people with small businesses. We do ask that limit business posts to once a week.
SELLER:
You must be age 18 or older to sell on this page for safety purposes.
All items must be listed with a price on the original post-this is not an auction site.
If posting furniture please list dimensions in your original post.
Take a good picture, add a detailed description, sell like items in lots/bulk (easier to arrange one pick-up than many), most importantly - keep your prices low, people generally will not pay top dollar for a used item. Think about how much you would pay for an item at a yard sale, not what you want it to be worth:) Items priced low will sell much faster!
If you have multiple photos and/or multiple items in the same category (Video games, books, toys, etc ...) Please list them in a Photo Album, not individual posts. This will make it easier for everyone to see the many items listed each day.
If your item has not sold in a reasonable amount of time, try lowering your price. If it doesn't sell, consider donating to one of many organizations in the area to take advantage of the tax write-off! Feel free to ask an Admin for suggestions. Remember this is a Steals and Deals page-so price as a steal or deal:)
Please state the condition of your item-if there are holes, stains, or if an item doesn't work-please state that in your post.
Please DELETE your item once it has sold or is no longer available.
No auctions, live animals, illegal items or firearms allowed.
CROSS POSTING-please wait 24 hours after posting before you cross-post items for sale. It gets confusing when its on 4 different pages and then there is the confusion on who gets the item.
BUYERS:
If you wish to purchase an item-please comment AND send the seller a message to arrange pickup.
Try to arrange pickup within 24 hours if possible or a reasonable time frame.
Admins have the right to delete members without notice for not following site rules.
If you tell someone that you want to buy an item than you need to follow through. One no show will result in a warning and the second will result in you being removed from the group.
If you have a no show or an issue that you feel an admin. needs to address than please PM Robin or myself.
