A local online shop to sell, swap or give away your unwanted items. . Business are also welcome to advertise on here, but please ensure you read the rules for advertising below. Please note though, there is a separate business page for Hesketh Bank and Tarleton on FB too.

How to use the page:
Just comment with the details of your item (including a pic), the condition it is in, the price and the location for collection. Also state if you are able to deliver locally. If it is for sale on other sites, please say so, so that members are aware that they may not be the 1st person to show an interest in your item. Try to avoid using 'offers please', because in general, people do not know what to offer for an item. It is better to put something like 'offers around £15'. If your item doesn't generate any interest at first, please bump it up the page rather than re-posting the same item. You do this by just writing 'bump' as a comment. If you can't find your original post, then access this page via a web browser (i.e not via Facebook for I pad) and use the magnifying glass tool at the top right hand side to search for your name (it says search this group). Please only bump your item up once a day to give everybody's items a fair chance of being seen.
The 1st person to comment on an item should be given 1st refusal on it, even if they have just asked a general question about it.
Please remember to delete your posts after the item has been collected. I would recommend that you only delete it after it's been collected because unfortunately some buyers never turn up to collect their items.
Please don't put personal details like phone numbers and addresses as a comment. Use inbox messages to swop details with your buyer.
NO guns, knives or anything illegal.
Admin reserve the right to delete multiple posts of the same item.
Rules for advertising - added sept 14
1. Do not re-post the same advert over and over - bump it up instead.
2. Only one bump per day.
3. Try to ensure that the service you are adverting is within a reasonable distance of this area - if not, you may be better advertising on a page that's more local to where your business is based.
Admin will remove those ads which do not meet the above rules. Thanks.
