FOR ALDRICK WOODRUFF:

Hello group visitors,

Thank you for taking the time to view this site. For those of you who don’t know me or have forgotten me through the years, I grew up in Pace, Mississippi and graduated from Rosedale High School in 1985 (Go Eagles). Following high school, I spent four years in the U.S. Air Force before being honorable discharged. After that, I served as a manager for Alamo Car rental in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
As many of my old friends are aware, I was wrongly convicted in 1993 in the murder of my wife and have been imprisoned in a Minnesota State Correctional facility since that time. I’m well mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually, and hope you all are even better.

I realize that a long time has passed since I’ve connected with old friends. Through this site, I’m hoping to correct that. I’m also hoping, through new and renewed connections, I am able to get help as I continue to fight for my freedom.

During the course of trying to prove my innocence over these many years, I have discovered and been made aware, by different attorneys, of unlawful shortcuts and other illegal practices by my attorney and the prosecutor during my trial. I was also told by an appellate court that my appeal attorney cost me an opportunity to get out of prison due to her misinterpretation of the law – citing her ineffectiveness.

I’m hoping that one of you can put me in contact with a person or organization that is willing to assist with my defense. Any advice, encouragement or financial assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

My brother, Reg (Reginal Woodruff), will be updating me on comments to this site. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you and God bless

Al
