This group is set up to allow Surf Coast locals to buy and sell second hand stuff- free of charge- in order to overcome the shortcomings of eBay. Post an item, or make contact with someone with a posted item...buy and sell...easy.
There are no rules- just the rules of common sense, and good will. As a guide, and for the ease of use of the site for others, please note the following:
1. Place as much info on the listing as possible.
2. Communication via FB message is best- but generally, the first person to comment should have first go. If you miss out, or if there is a stuff up- be nice and better luck next time.
3. If you have multiple items, try to list them together, so that the page is not taken up with all one persons items.
4. Try not to "bump" too much- once a day is fine for a few days, but if there's no action, then the item will not sell, so don't bother.
5. Be nice, be reasonable and if the site works for you then feel free to stay- if it doesn't work for you then feel free to leave- hey no problem!
6. Please, no animals to be sold or given away on the page.
Bad behaviour and commercial sales will not be tolerated- members and posts will be deleted immediately without notice. Remember- it's your page- everyone here lives within the same community and this page brings us together a little.
